 DUTIES ATTACHED TO THE POST :

1. Collection of the solid waste from Door to door :

Mazdoor generally blows the whistle indicating their arrival at their palce of work . Wastes are being collected by them from different households under various wards  (1 to 144 ) of Kolkata municipal Corporation .

2. Street Sweeping :

Street sweeping posts need to mazdoors regularly to clean the lanes ,roads , streets etc of various Wards of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

3. Waste to Vats / COMPACTOR Stations Transportation:

Solid waste are being transported by the Mazdoor to Vats / Compactor Station by :

1. Hand Carts
2. Tri Cycle Paddle Vans

• Battery Operated Hydraulic Dumpers

1. Auto Tipper Trucks

4. Dumper Garbages :

Mazdoors are alos engaged to help the dumping of garbage at dhapa dump site
