Who can Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2020?

The official notification issued on the DRDO website says that there are 15 vacancies of which nine JRF vacancies are for candidates with an MSc in the biological stream in life science such as zoology, biotechnology, molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology or immunology in first division along with a valid NET or GATE score.

There are five JRF vacancies for candidates with an MSc in chemistry, physical, analytical, organic or inorganic, in first division along with a valid NET or GATE score.Have also own fellowship vacancies for the above-mentioned degrees.

There is one research associate vacancy for candidates with a PhD in physical, analytical, organic or inorganic chemistry. A research associate will be employed in DRDO for two years, and JRF will be employed for a total of 5 years wherein the candidate will work as JRF for two years and as SRF for three years subject to a satisfactory performance that will be assessed by a designated committee.

Also, candidates cannot be over 28 years of age for JRF and over 35 years for RA; however, a relaxation of 5 years is allowed for SC and ST, and three years for OBC candidates as per the Government of India rules.

How to Apply for DRDO Recruitment 2020?

Interested and eligible candidates need to apply for a walk-in-interview, which will be conducted from 28 to 30 July 2020 in DRDE. An application form that can be downloaded from the DRDO website must be filled and brought along with bio-data at the time of the walk-in-interview. Eligible candidates interested to apply for the posts are advised to go through the official notification in detail.
